Refashion For Life 2012

We are so thrilled we were able to take part in the Refashion For Life show at the Callen Construction Showroom Wednesday, September 26th, benefitting Elena’s House. Our stylist and fashion/beauty blogger for Milwaukee Magazine Lyneé Ruiz was the emcee for the evening. 14 models walked the runway for 7 boutiques, and we were responsible for their hair and makeup!

We wanted the models to look like dolls as they walked on stage, so we came up with a high bun for the hair. Makeup was a 20′s lip (it looked like they were puckered!) lower lash strips and a thick upper liner on porcelain skin. We used Bumble and bumble Classic hairspray to tease the hair in to massive buns! Glo Minerals was the makeup line we used to create the doll-like look. We were incredibly happy with how it turned out!

Boutiques involved: Boutique Larrieux, Goldi’s, Faye’s, Lela, Urban Laundry, Fashion Farm Boy and Boutique B’lou.

Kellie, Cameron, Monica, Desi, Stephanie, and Trisha all took part styling the show! We had a lot of fun behind-the-scenes and everything went without a hitch (that is a RARE thing in fashion shows)!

Cameron, Stephanie and Monica hard at work!
